Rooftop
The eighth floor, open to the sky.
The rooftop is the top of the building — Floor 8, above the dining room, with nothing built over it. The approved plans title it the Sky Bar, and the drawings show an open terrace rather than an enclosed room: a deck laid the full width of the floor, planted at intervals, edged with a glazed balustrade.
Built around one object
The terrace has a single centrepiece. A circular bar stands in the middle of the deck under a wide conical canopy, with a lit ring beneath its rim and tiered shelves of bottles wrapping the column below. Stools run around its base. It works as a pavilion — the one tall thing on an otherwise low, open floor, and the point everything else is arranged around.
The seating is deliberately low against it: woven armchairs, small marble-topped tables, candle lamps, and a longer run of tables against a rail lit by shaded lamps. A dark stone-clad volume at one end holds the service side of the floor. Planted palms break the deck into smaller areas rather than leaving one open expanse.
What we are not going to tell you
Most rooftop pages in this city open with a view. This one will not, because the hotel has not confirmed what can be seen from Floor 8. The wide render shows an open sky and a distant, indistinct horizon, and that is genuinely all it shows — no river, no landmark, nothing we could stand behind. So there is no panorama here, no skyline and no sunset, and there will not be until someone has stood on the finished terrace and told us what is actually there.

The description above is of the terrace as the hotel’s approved design documents draw it. What is served on Floor 8, opening hours, whether the bar operates separately from the restaurant, and the outlook from the deck are all unpublished — none is confirmed.
